Smokey's

The food was delicious. I had the Smoked chicken chopped salad. It was a chicken salad like no other. The smoke flavor from the chicken was a nice change to the ordinary grilled chicken salad. We even had a creature sneak up near us and snagged his dinner. He stayed far away from us but we were able to capture a picture. I only rated the restaurant low because the staff was not friendly and was difficult to get their attention. Except for one thing young lady who was wearing a dress, she was very meek and sweet. The teenage boy who brought us our food was quite rude. Instead of placing are utensils on the table, he threw them literally on the table. It took us all by surprise. I guess he was afraid to get to close to us.

I really enjoyed eating here with my friend on my birthday. They had indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful mountain views of the New River Gorge. Some of the trees had white lights strung around them. There was also a large wooden deck. This place is truly special, a real gem that we just stumbled on. It's everything in a restaurant aesthetically that I could ask for. Good service, took great care in keeping us safe during this pandemic. Paper straws are a nice touch. Everything was quick and efficient. So happy to have dined here! Thank you!!!

Such a beautiful location. Our server was Coda and she was absolutely amazing. The food was excellent and much bigger portions than we expected. My only complaint was it was really hot outside and all the windows were open to let in the fresh air but this particular day it was 90 degree fresh air. Otherwise beautiful views and amazing service.

Had a great experience here dispite everyrhing going on with Covid. The place was very nice and the outdoor deck was beautiful. Very nice view of the bridge. Food was great, loved the smoked wings. Started to get pretty busy as we were finishing our meal. Would defiitely come back if in the area again.
