Food is good but it comes with risks. The first time I went delicious 😋 but sometimes my carnitas have lots of fatty bits and chicken have bones. Imagine cautiously eating a burrito because you smashed down on a bone and cartilage 🥴 and yes that is wire brush bristle. But again I must stress the food is tasty despite these mishaps.

I like coming here. Food is really solid and generally if you call in ahead of time the wait is going to be minimized. I really like the torta sandwich (can be a bit inconsistent, but I've yet to have a bad one!) and the bean and cheese papusa. The green sauce varies in heat (honestly to me means that's it's fresh). Never had an issue with any food - but do know that ordering in restaurant may equal a wait. I don't get to come here as much as I used to, but I always look forward to a visit.

I ordered the fajita, waited about 30-40 min to be served. Meanwhile I observed none of the cooks were using gloves. One of them was chewing gum and kept taking it out of her mouth then putting it back in while touching the food and cutting tomatoes. Probably won’t return for reasons the food wasn’t that bad just a bit salty.

Potential but disappointing first trip. I get there 11am (opens at 10) and they say the chicken isn't ready, 25min wait. I order steak torta, plantains w/beans & sour cream and horchata. Friendly but then... Not even 5 minutes after I sit to wait the very next customer asks if the chicken is ready and they say yes, taking it out now. Another customer gets chicken to go. Come on now. Plantains and beans were ok but the steak torta was light on the steak and a whole lot of lettuce. For $16? I'll give them one more try but will stick to the chicken.
