Sizzler

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sizzlers, and it was truly exceptional. From the warm and courteous welcome upon entry to the comfortable yet sophisticated ambiance, Sizzlers is suitable for both casual and formal gatherings. The Sizzler's at Lake Forest are outstanding. For my meal, I had a sumptuous feast. I savored a perfectly prepared 6oz medium rare steak, complemented by three jumbo shrimp. The St. Louis-style ribs smothered in honey BBQ sauce were a delightful addition to the meal. The baked potato, served with butter, sour cream, and chives, was the perfect side, adding a touch of richness and flavor. However, it's worth noting that the cheese toast appeared and tasted to be slightly burnt. This was a minor hiccup in an otherwise excellent meal. After the main course, I had the pleasure of indulging in a self-serve ice cream machine, which was topped with Oreo bits. It was a delightful way to conclude the meal, adding a sweet note to the overall experience. I must commend our server, Jose, for his impeccable service and attentiveness, which added to our enjoyment. Considering the quality and quantity of the cuisine, the pricing is reasonable. In summary, Sizzlers is a top choice for those who appreciate culinary excellence in a refined atmosphere. I look forward to returning for more.

My guest and I had positive experiences dining at this particular Sizzler in the city of Lake Forest since 2017, compared to other Sizzler restaurants that are still in business. Services and Cleanliness: My most recent late lunch dining on 10/8/23 was as pleasant as expected. The lady at the cashier was courteous. The dining areas and restroom were kept clean and tidy. Jose, a very pleasant and courteous server contributed to our enjoyable dining experience. Dining Environment: The decor is elegant with family-values theme. TV had Sunday football game on with low volume which allowed patrons to enjoy their dining without too much distractions. Soft music in the background was nicely volumed. Food: The salad bar was beautifully placed with variety of choices. Fresh and not too salty in taste. Parking: ample Overall: a very nice place to relax and enjoy our eating-out meals.

The Sizzler I remember from the 1980s - the food was barely edible. But the steak I had last Sunday was SO good. Cooked right, tasted like beef, served well. Even the garlic bread was tasty. Yum! Left with a doggy bag and a happy tummy. I had 2 more meals of steak. Expensive though - $45 for a ribeye steak, baked potato, and salad bar with no drink. 9.24.2023

Great that the Salad 🥗 bar is open again & we can serve ourselves!! Love all of their available options & variety!! Would like to see, just a Soup option, especially for Seniors & cooler weather too. 😎 Wait staff doesn't have to play referees with diners, it's just not enjoyable to have people watching what you're eating.....all meal long. We'll most likely be back; I saw the Cheese Toast Melts advertised. Are they for lunch or dinner as well?

It was pretty good.....prices are kinda.crazy & we didn't see the where the Sizzler 60 or Menu for Honored Guests is?!? Plus soup 🍲 as a side option would be nice also. 🙂 Love that the Salad 🥗 bar is open again, but please cut down on the hovering runners, they're bringing the Cheese Toast, just watching 👀 customers......making enjoying our dinner rather uncomfortable. 😉

If you're looking for a classic dining experience with all-you-can-eat soup and salad, delicious steaks and seafood, and a great atmosphere, then Sizzler in Lake Forest is the hidden gem. Although I was disappointed to miss out on the cheese toast, everything else was wonderful. The clam chowder is definitely a standout dish, and the crispy shrimp is a must-try. But the real star of the show is the garlic cheese bread, which is simply the best. It's great to see that this Sizzler location is still going strong despite the closure of so many others. The managers do an excellent job of keeping the restaurant running smoothly, and the nostalgic atmosphere is sure to bring back fond memories. My girlfriend was especially pleased to indulge in her childhood favorite, nachos. Overall, I highly recommend this top-notch Sizzler location to any fan of the chain. It's a great place to come and support, especially if you haven't been to a Sizzler since 1995.
