Does not disappoint! I did get their signature Mai Tai and it was indeed amazing. Not mind blowing, but it was super easy to drink and quite tasty. The Lilikoi foam on top was really tasty! For food, we ordered poke tacos, fish sandwich, and the burger. We also added truffle fries for our sandwich and burger for an extra $3 each. At $24 for the poke tacos I didn't know what to expect, but there was SO MUCH ahi tuna stuffed in those taco shells that I feel like I got my money's worth. It was very fresh and very yummy. Great appetizer! The burger was a good burger. It was nothing crazy, but I enjoyed it. I ordered medium rare and it came out medium rare. The fish sandwich however was straight up amazing!! I would be totally content coming back here every day and ordering the fish sandwich. The truffle fries were good and I liked the truffle taste, but next time I'd probably give the $2 regular fries a try. The fries could have been crispier, I feel like they were done before the rest of the food.

Monkeypod Kitchen may have been the greatest meal my wife and I have ever eaten. We went here for our honeymoon and this was recommended by some locals. Everything was absolutely perfect! If nothing else you have to get a slice of one of their cream pie(s). The Mai Tai(s) are also the best on Oahu, so that's a bonus.

We were told we HAD to come here for their Mai Tai and boy did they deliver. I made it my mission to have a Mai Tai literally everywhere I went and monkeypod served by far the best one on the island. Go during happy hour and save a few bucks, you won't regret it. Everything we ordered was unique and tasted great, and the service was top notch. After checking out some other food spots we found ourselves coming back here often.

Arrived at 8:15 on a Tuesday night and only waited 20 min to get a table for 4. Stacy was our server and she was friendly, informative, polite, and helpful! Cocktails and food: wow, wow, wow! Everyone ordered something different and it turned into a grazing session of forks and plates going back and forth. Cocktail wise we had a Mai Tai which they have a reputation for, and it is a well earned reputation.... The foam topping was delicious. Also had a spottieottiedopealicious.... If you like bourbon and peaches, you have found your dream cocktail. Fish tacos are quite outstanding and we have had our share- born and raised in southern California and coming to Hawaii almost yearly for 38 years I would like to think we know a little about dish tacos, and this place has THE best we've ever had! Mac nut encrusted mahi mahi was also fantastic.... Easily gives Mama 's a run for their money and I never thought I would say that. Pizzas, amazing! Dessert wise, we had the strawberry cream pie... I quite literally have no words. In a world where it seems more and more chefs are adding obscure ingredients to make their dishes sound more rare and exotic, Monkeypod has added things for a reason and makes every ingredient not only shine on its own, but combine with the others to elevate all the flavors and textures together. Will definitely be back!

Our family went here last night for dinner, and it was so good! Because we have traveled here from the Los Angeles area we’ve been hungry earlier than normal. We rolled in here around 4 PM and found out that they were happy hour prices. All of the pizzas were half off. We grabbed a couple things off the kids menu, one of my nephews got a cheeseburger. Another one of my nephews got some fish. We ended up ordering a couple pizzas, garlic, truffle fries, some normal fries, and I got several orders of chicken wings. We also ordered the fish and chips. That was super good. If you’re looking for some really good fish and chips, I would highly recommend that. I really enjoyed the chicken wings as a starter, they were very good. We didn’t do much for drinks because we had been in the sun all day and so we mostly just drink water. Our server was extremely kind. He did such a great job taking care of us. We were a large party, and I was thrilled that we got sat at a really nice table. The location is really clean to.
