Tee-away

This place is hit and miss the menu is always changing. Currently get the impression they want to get more into catering and do less restaurant service. However, the best food I've had has been going out with family and friends on a whim. I've had their catered food three times and would never host a party here. Bring on the wings, pizza, salad bar steaks and fish fry please mmm. But sorry potatoes and chicken ain't worth the catering price. Unfortunately coming less because of inconsistency and not having a need to host a party.

Their brand new chef Sherry Wallace is an excellent cook. Had dinner there last week and really enjoyed the salad bar and the broiled shrimp dinner. I don’t like their main dining room as there are no windows, but both the back dining room and small side room have a wall of windows with pleasant views.

We were a group of 15. We called ahead and made a reservation and let them know how many we would be. They gave us one waitress and she acted like she was probably new. She forgot the lemon for the fish. One of the guys in our group is a professional General Manager. He got up several times and served us water. The pitchers were empty for a long time. Those who ordered fish said it was cold and the baked potatoes half done. We had come from the funeral home and were looking forward to being together as a family. The restaurant was not even very busy that night. Very disappointed and I never give bad reviews but this one is deserved.
