It's expensive but the portions are decent and the food is good. Great salsa bar too. Overall this feels like a very Ladera taco place. To me it's more of a special occasion taco place vs. a regular taco Tuesday place.

Whoa...local friends took us to lunch here because it's one of their favorites and we couldn't stop going back. Everything we had (over 3 separate lunches) was outstanding...just a nice combination of a few different regions in Mexico with that Southern California flavor...and then just done really, really well. They make it all right there...carne asada is marinated is something special, their salsas are all excellent, and best horchata in the area (that last one according to our local friends). Casual, order at the counter, grab your own salsas, eat inside or on a great patio, very friendly staff....definitely, this is the spot.

The food is FANTASTIC and there’s a variety of protein choices to choose from for your tacos or burrito. Plenty of healthy veggies to mix in as well, try the Quesalicious for a appetizer. Lobster taco is a must try! The mixed drinks are kinda on the weak side, go with beers. 😉

Authentic Mexican food in a colorful fun setting.
Had carnitas and el pastor tacos with chips and salsa and a chicken tortilla soup with Avocado on top. Everything tasted perfect and had a nice spicy aftertaste.
Plenty of outdoor seating outside and inside.
We were here on a taco Tuesday so they had specials on the hard and soft shell tacos as well as drinks. The whole lunch for 2 people was under $25 which is quite the deal nowadays.

I love Taco Mesa. It's my favorite tiny chain. Their wild Alaskan salmon tacos are AMAZING! Their chips and guacamole are also great. I love the salmon so much that I haven't branched out to try other things. My son loves the Mexico City Enchiladas. My other son enjoyed his carnitas tacos.
