I love this place. Sort of dive bar atmosphere, so don't go here if you're looking to impress your date with posh presentation of overpriced food.
But if you want to relax, have great food, and feel like the wait staff is genuinely invested in you... this is your place.
Pretty good tap selection.
Great wings- among San Diego's best.

Hey this is a great little spot! All the food was good, wings were excellent, everyone enjoyed their selection. The house made potato chips were really good, sliced very thin but not overcooked. Great people too.

Very much a locals hangout and divey bar. Felt very welcome though. The drinks are what you'd expect. Strong and cheap. The food is what blew me away. Definitely get the wings. The cha cha and the Tom Cat were just phenomenal. I'd come back just for these delicious wings. Just beware, and I'm not sure this is the case all the time, but the kitchen closed at 8:45 when we went. Not a problem cause we got our order in by 8:30 but that was something we were not anticipating.

The staff & good food at TomCat are what makes the place highly rated. The manager there is EXTREMELY friendly, personable and attentive. Service is super friendly & excellent from all the staff. They even get to know you personally and check on you often. I had wings & a couple drinks which were perfect! Many locals and regulars there as well. They also have a pool table and app driven juke box. I'll definitely be returning.

Nice place to hang out, the Tomcat wings are amazing. Not sure if they are understaffed, but we did have to flag down someone to get serviced when you have a table, unless you go to the bar and order your drinks directly. Good music and atmosphere.
