Spicy Bite

Great food, quick courteous service. Definitely going back. Side note a taco is not a taco without a homemade tortilla. Which they deliver on. Just tried the carne asada fries. I have been wanting to try them. They were very good, and the burger as well the bun for the burger is very good and onion rings.

I don't leave many reviews but this one Is warranted. Went for Mother's Day meal with my wife and stepdaughter. Our meal was good and our waitress was very good. However, at the end of the meal we asked another waitress who came by for to go boxes and I asked for a to go tea. This other waitress LIED and told me they did not have to go cups. I've been in here twice in the last 10 days and had no problem getting a to go cup. From where I sat I could see plenty of to go cups behind the counter. I then asked another waitress as well as our waitress for a to go tea which they were going to get and the waitress that lied to me stopped both of them from getting my tea. At this point I spoke to the manager and told her I was lied to; she responded by "I'm sure she didn't mean to" It was very blatant that she did flat out lie and the manager was trying to defend her and cover her lie. I told the manager I purchased my tea and just like a to go food box I want my tea to go. I also told her my previous visits in the last 10 days I had no issues getting a to go cup. The manager was not apologetic and said because of Covid they were short on to go containers in general. This wasn't the case the last 10 days apparently and just happened? The main point and principle of all of this was one of the waitresses lied to me! Seemed liked it was more important to defend a lying waitress than to make sure customer satisfaction was achieved. Have to really think hard about going back after this experience. Unfortunate too because was really beginning to like this place.

I hate to do this, but I'm all about constructive criticism. This place is so convenient to our home, granted it's always packed, and with good reason, but lately past couple months it's been crazy. Food is pretty good, and staff is typically pretty nice. But just work on putting more food in your tacos PLEASE, and staff smile more. I know the world is short staffed, and I'm always polite, but $3.29 for carne guisada taco plus .50 for cheese to get 3 pieces of meat in my carne guisada taco?? That's not cool. Do better spicy bite! My bacon and egg taco only had half an egg maybe and I tiny piece of bacon! That is disappointing.

Great service and tasty food! Love the homemade flour tortillas. They just have that taste and feel of homemade. Really good. I had the Plum Plate and the portions were generous. Had to take half of it home. Sopapillas were light and puffy. Got it to go and they forgot the honey. I had some at home though! Delicious food.
