Topped off our very small wedding celebration with a meal at jacques. First time we’d been but most definitely won’t be the last. What a fantastic evening - food delicious and the ambience, decor and service was first class. Another bonus,unbeknown to us at the time of booking, was that there is live music on a Wednesday courtesy of the Emma skip duo, who perfectly complimented the evening and made it a perfect occasion . Love it 🥰

I thought that being gluten, dairy, nut & egg intolerant may present quite a challenge for a decent Afternoon Tea experience. I couldn’t have been more wrong! My friend who was with me could eat anything on the menu & what we both had looked & tasted amazing! The service & attention to detail was first class. The decor, tableware & ambience was also on point. Worth EVERY penny & I would highly recommend this wonderful establishment. Thank you & I hope to return soon 🙏

Awesome! Went here as a surprise birthday treat and was blown away. The starter was sublime, the steak was just perfection, unfortunately the desert wasn't as special as the other dishes - I've had better cheesecake elsewhere, which was a shame as I was really looking forward to the grand finale and it nearly made me leave 4* - but the former courses made up for that, and the staff were top drawer and very attentive and the night as a whole was excellent. I can highly recommend and will be returning very soon, in fact we booked again for the following week 😉

We had a wonderful breakfast at Jacques to celebrate a 40th birthday. Such a gorgeous place which felt special, but not uptight or stuffy with it. The food was delicious as was the coffee. Service was a little slow but we were enjoying ourselves so it wasn't a big deal. (They also noticed the delay and did apologise to us) It's slightly more expensive, we spent £24 each on breakfast, but for a special occasion we all felt it was totally worth. I hope to visit again soon!

Superb meals, enjoyed by our whole party. Made perfect by the attentive staff. We have never been anywhere like it, where the atmosphere was relaxed and extremely friendly while maintaining attention to detail. We felt it necessary to mention the young man ( Liam?)in particular, extremely knowledgeable about the menu, he confidently offered recommendations to us. He was polite, courteous but also invested time in us, we enjoyed some great conversations about mutual interests. Great night, we will be back.

First time to the restaurant and it was a five star experience. From the minute you walk in the ambience and the service was excellent. Considering it was a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was very busy. Food was excellent, medium sized portions which means you can try more than one course 😉. I had scallops to start which were excellent. Lamb main course, beautifully cooked, then a cheese board to follow. We had wine with our meal with a great selection. Not cheap prices, but not overly expensive and worth it for a treat. I did not get the name of our waiter - he was from Willenhall - but great service. Will definitely be returning, I fancy trying the afternoon tea.
