Shake It

The best bubble tea spot in the area! A lot of thought goes into making the drinks and selecting high quality, fresh, local ingredients. The staff are always happy to answer any questions you have about the menu and help you customize your drink to your liking. I have been many times over the last couple years but I still always ask for recommendations in order to try new tasty drinks. Besides bubble tea, they also have other drinks such as smoothies, hot tea, and shakes. I also like their onigiri, freshly made waffles, and Full Tilt ice cream (coffee oreo and ube are my favorites).

You need to try Kirkland's new bubble tea + ice cream shop: Shake It! I had it tonight for the first time and was impressed with the flavor and the quality. I'm not a bubble tea fan. However, this iced matcha latte with red beans and soy milk was simply perfect. The quality of the matcha was fantastic and the beverage wasn't overly sweet. My mini waffle dessert was made with Full Tilt's Thai Iced Tea ice cream, strawberries, mochi, dark chocolate syrup, and strawberry Pocky. It was fresh and flavorful. If you love tea, you have to check out the real tea they use from Smacha. Shake It made me a bubble tea believer. 😁

Bubble tea and ice cream are good here. Usually have a good experience but service and drink quality is very hit or miss depending on the day you go. I come here regularly, and most of the time the drinks taste great and have quick service, but I've had one visit where they somehow forgot my order and I waited over 25 minutes, and sometimes the drinks are very watery without much flavor. Still enjoy coming here since mostly have good experience, just wish it was more consistent. Also depending on time of day, it can get very crowded with students who often are very loud and rowdy playing games, so not always an ideal environment for a quiet hangout to catch-up with a friend.
