Liquid Jade

Beautiful cozy cafe. We had coffee and cherry cake and it was delicious! I was impressed by how many leaf tea options they have, I will try them next time. There is an outdoors area for sunny days, they serve wines as well. We took our 2 year old and he was very welcomed. The staff was very friendly, thanks!

This is heaven for tea lovers! And heaven for coffee and cake lovers! Helen, the owner, has set up an amazing little cafe with Liquid Jade. She specialises in loose-leaf teas and has a tea menu which is 5 or 6 pages long. They are all also on display in jars. I went for the kiwi and strawberry one. It came served in a high-quality glass teapot, which kept the tea warm for ages. It also came with a pretty sand ‘egg’ timer to measure the brewing time. The cakes were all also really fresh and delicious. I went for the orange and lemon one. The cafe decor is bright, cheerful and relaxing, and Helen clearly takes pride in the cleanliness of her establishment. Her customer service really was second to none. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about tea and has even been to a tea plantation in Sri Lanka. The cafe also serves savoury dishes, but we arrived mid-afternoon so were interested in the tea and cake. It’s great she has an online shop too. Highly recommended.
