Tacos are great but messy to eat. Lot of cabbage to fish ratio. Portions are huge tho so two tacos is really filling

Super nice girl rocking great tunes, tasty food. Don’t believe the crabby reviews, probably just came at a busy time and it’s one person in a good truck so be kind. Leaving here right now very impressed! Lots of delicious food for the price!

Good little taco/burrito truck in the parking lot on your way into Makena Beach. Nothing fancy or too special, but good to eat when you don’t want to pack up from your spot on the beach and drive back into town for a bite to eat.

One of the best fish tacos I have ever had (I've had a lot) the tortilla is perfectly charred and the Mahi Mahi is so delicious. A must stop after a day at little beach

JAWZ Taco Truck is located in the Makena Beach (Big Beach) parking lot. Offering a decent sized menu including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, taco salad, nachos, dogs, organic smoothies, shave ice, ice cream treats, and cold drinks.
My wife and I purchased the tacos and an organic smoothie. The tacos were filling, tasty, and loaded with lots of cheese! The smoothie was ice cold and refreshing.
Depending on the time of day, they can be somewhat busy and wait times may be a little long, but I would not hesitate to purchase food from JAWZ the next time I'm at Makena Beach!

There are 2 Jawz Taco Trucks near Big Beach! Excellent Pulled Pork Tacos, with a creamy salsa! 3 tacos were $10.25. They were just a little salty, otherwise the service was friendly and quick!

You might think, based on the location, that this place is a tourist trap with lousy food. It isn't. The owner just opened a fixed location, which gives this truck its first competition for good, reasonably priced fish taco. Can't really go wrong with this place and surprisingly good smoothies for a truck in the middle of the desert.
