Rump Roasters

I have experienced this establishment two days apart by trying the mac & cheese and a sandwich melt. As a Culinarian and Foodie, I enjoyed the flavors of each entree. But I was disappointed by the lack of ingredients that comes with each entree I ordered, and also regarding my sandwich melt it was completely soggy which I just ate the filling and not the bread. Overall the service was nice as I met the owner Carlos who was absolutely professional and a great guy.

Today was my first time eating at Rump roasters and it was AMAZING! We were greeted at the counter by the owner, who reviewed the day's specials and took our orders. The food came out quickly and was delicious! I ordered the loaded tator tots and the Dip sandwich. The portions were huge! We will definitely be back!

Heard great things so my husband and I ordered a few things and shared to test it all. The pork and broccoli rabe sandwich was SO good! The roll, the cheese, everything! Then we tried the beef, mac and cheese, potato salad and coleslaw! AMAZING!!! Every side was perfect. Now I know I wont be able to decide which side to go with which entrée!! My daughter had a wonderfully priced kids meal and she loved every bit of it! Definitely made regular customers out of our family! Good job!!

Rump Roasters opened within the last week or two in the time of this review...the first time I ate there, I got the "Sweet Baby Ray" sandwich. I brought it back to my desk and was expecting a normal lunch...but I was wrong. This sandwich was absolutely out of this world. I savored every bite, shared with some of my colleagues and they, too, were very impressed. I didn't want it to be one of those "one time it's really great" stories so I've decided to try it again, and this time, it was even better. Whatever these guys are doing to their sandwich has impressed me over and over again and I look forward to being a regular customer!

Ate here for the first time and as I expected, it was incredible. I had the bbq pork and slaw sandwich and my wife had the mac and cheese with beef. This place reminds be of a hot spot you would find in the reading terminal in Philly. The owner is friendly and hard working and the service is great. Can’t wait to go back. You won’t be disappointed.
