North End Bar & Grill

Quickness of service could have been a little better. Waited 30 min to take our order for food after we placed the appetizers. Chicken wing dip was watery and had about a 50/50 ratio of cheddar cheese and wing dip. Could of had a little less cheese and more dip. Chips were not fresh… stale as can be. Chicken finger salad was fresh and tasted really good. Flatbread pizza could of been cooked a little more with less pepper seeds to enjoy the pizza without burning your face off lol. Spinach bread was really good and paired with a nice thick marinara sauce. Last but not least the nachos were really good (would of been better with fresh chips) nice serving size for the price!!! Will def try it again!!

Just tried this place for the first time. Definitely will return very soon. Tried the stuffed banana peppers which most places are very disappointing and these were fantastic. They seriously could not be any better. Also ordered a chicken finger wrap that was also very good. Fresh cut fries also excellent. These were also cooked properly unlike so many other places. The waitress I had was also excellent. Very friendly and very prompt service. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she was very good at her job. Also a very clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. Try this place out. You will be glad you did.

If you are ever in the Buffalo area? This is a true First Responder restaurant/bar. The owner is a retired city FD, and an active union stage guy. Service seems to be going down hill. Took awhile before anyone acknowledged us even though there was no wait. Waitress barely came to our tables for refills. Ordered chicken Caesar salad. Dressing to wasn’t cold. Chicken was tough and hard to chew. Lettuce was old and wilted. Croutons appeared to be made from scratch but had no flavor. Very disappointing.

We waited a bit for a table, really not bad or unexpected for a table of 5 on a Friday night in lent, but enough that I mentioned to my wife that the wait might influence my opinion on the food...boy was I wrong!!!! Best fish fry I have had in years...from the coleslaw to the tarter sauce and everything in between my meal was amazing. Will definitely go there again, even if I have to wait even longer!!!!
