One of the best Nero's I've been in in terms of the customer service. Staff friendly and helpful, and engaging. Coffee and food is standard Nero - far superior coffee to the huge vats served in other major chains.
I sit and work here for a bit of human contact most weeks and I've never had a bad visit.
It could do with an upgrade at some point but I love being feeling welcome and able to work in peace. And it's dog friendly if I need it.

Starting to become very expensive..the decision to reintroduce in and out pricing is ridiculous and is already costing them custom. It is certainly less busy following the recent back to back increases. They are now noticeably dearer than Costa for smaller quantities in their drinks

Great cafe, just steer clear on a Friday lunch time. My mum and friend have attempted it twice, on both a occasions couldn't as there is a couple that go that stink the area out

- One of the best Caffe Neros I have ever been to.
- The barista was awesome! She was very friendly and made great coffees for every member of my family! (Visited at 11:30am-ish on Tue 19 Sep 2023.)
- It is on Market Place / Branthwaite Brow. The google map tends to give wrong directions, so watch out for it. It might be easier to find Kendal War Memorial first and look around, you will be able to see it.
- It is tempting to cut through Westmorland shopping centre but it is not straightforward to find the way unless you are familiar with the shopping centre. It has a car park and the floor levels are not intuitive with the shops only on levels 2 and 5 where the level 2 means the ground floor and the level 5 means the first floor and so on. So, as mentioned above, the easiest would be to find Market Place / Kendal War Memorial / Branthwaite Brow.

I have been to Neros plenty of times & the food is gorgeous. They're very supportive staff. I have felt upset a couple of times whilst being there - they let me use their phone, and the staff have been so kind & amazing. kind people.
