Keller Tavern

A bar/restaurant with the right stuff to stand with the other "ice houses" in Keller's Old Town. The patio is nice, spacious, and dog friendly, with an outdoor bar to keep you from waiting on drinks from inside. Our server was quick and friendly, and made sure our four-legged companions got some water for their visit. The menu feels somewhat limited, but still provides the usual tavern faves (burgers, wings, and apps). I went for the Keller King Burger, and while tasty, I didn't detect much of the steak sauce that was promised with the shaved ribeye, so it came off a little dry. Despite my nitpicking, I fully expect to return here to unwind on the patio another day.

Nice and cozy atmosphere. The drinks and food were good. The service was slow even though it wasn't a packed house. The live music was nice so long as they have the good singer up there. Overall, the atmosphere, food & drinks, and occasional good music really sold this place to me. I will be coming back again in the future.

Most amazing appetizer eVeR. Freshly Fried Pork Skins sprinkled with lemon pepper served with queso to dip. Besides having a light crispy texture, exciting flavor pairing, high grade chicharrones that are fried fresh they produce a tantalizing audible pop. While resting tableside this curious dish snaps, crackles, and pops infrequently with admirable gusto. Great at nudging a conversation or the forefront of unforgettable memories. Good live music venue to enjoy a cold one complimented with an order of crispy pork skins
