Munson's Prime

Big restaurant and service was great. We had some apps before our meal and they were ok. Main meals were the burger and Philly cheese steak sandwich. I was visiting from Canada and this is where my cousin and her family like to eat. Next time I’ll try the steak since I guess that’s their specialty. Willing to try it again.

Absolutely no plate presentation at all! I ordered the rib eye and baked potato and that was literally all that was on the plate. The steak was tender but had a VERY lighter fluid, smoky taste. Salad was good, mountain oyster appetizer was good, but won't be going back at all! Not to mention the waitress with an attitude we had.......

This place is a hidden gem! I was traveling on a road trip with a friend and we came across Munson's by chance. Located in Junction City, KS just off of I-70, Munson's is definitely worth taking a brake from driving and sitting down for a nice meal. I broke my right heel bone 10 days prior to our visit to Munson's. I hobbled in on crutches and we sat at the bar. I propped my leg up to alleviate the pain from sitting in a car for an extended period of time. The waitress, Kate, asked me if i needed a pillow. I thanked her, but i was fine. I did ask her if she could bring me a bag of ice so that I could ice my swollen foot. She obliged and brought me a bag of ice. This helped ease my pain tremendously!!🤕😊 What a wonderful person!! We sat at the bar and ordered the Chef's choice of steak. It was a small 6 oz. portion of skirt steak, the cut varies and the chef's choice, served with a side and a salad. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection!! The mac and cheese was also excellent. I had a pint of the Space Camp IPA, brewed by Blind Tiger out of Topeka,KS. That was also excellent!! Karina was the bartender and she was friendly and very helpful with our selections. She represented the restaurant extremely well!! The meal was perfect, just enough and extremely tasty!! I highly reccomend Munson's. I will definitely return!! Thanks again to Karina and Kate for excellent service and hospitality and to the kitchen staff for providing us with excellent food. I have to tell everyone that Munson's Prime is "The Place" to go for the Very Best Hamburger around this area. Today was my first experience eating here. Met friends at the restaurant after working hard on a project together. We were seated speedily, the menu was easy to navigate and the food came quickly. The flavoring in the meat was fantastic! We will be back with more family and friends.

I came to this place with high hopes, but unfortunately this place is a major let down. We were greeted by a very nice host who also was our waitress and bartender. I ordered a medium rare ribeye steak and it came out rare with a very cold center. The nice server took the steak back for re-cook. The steak came back charred as hell and with an awful taste. Absolutely the worst steak I ever had at a restaurant! The waitress took some off the bill and told us the manager was to busy to talk to us. There was only two other tables with customers. This is a high price restaurant with very poor food and management!! UPDATE: my wife is having stomach and GI pains due to eating here! Definitely in the top five places of the worst places I have ate at.

This was a great 10 Dollar lunch special, salad was great suggestion from waitress Katrina, with honey mustard and French dressing was spot on, the steak was cooked perfectly, potatoes where fantastic and the yeast rolls was a great treat to the taste buds, would recommend this to all traveling by....
