Pause Cafe

Bad bad bad coffee. I ordered a few times as it was the only place to get a coffee at the hospital and only once was served a decent coffee made by a male working there. The rest of times it went in the bin. Overpriced - even drinks in the fridge are way more than at the supermarket. Sometimes double the price. Way to exploit sick people and parents of premature babies in the hospital. Rude customer service. Don't know how they still operate to be honest.

Seriously what a horrible cafe this is. The staff are rude, the food is disgusting. $10 minimum. Have a good hard look at yourselves. You are in the surrounds of a hospital, sometimes you just want a coffee. Get with the times. I will never ve back and will spread the word. On a good note Buttery cafe (over the road from the hospital) was absolutely beautiful.

Unbelievably poor service, bland bread based food and reduculous prices! I paid $26 for s roll coffee and biscuit Even the staff are grumpy and talked about how soon before they could leave - honestly my Dad is in critical care and we may lose him All I wanted was a decent lunch and maybe a smile But that was far too much to expect 🤬 For someone working in this area they really need to find better staff - oh and maybe while your at it offer a wider range of food not all bread based - yuck 🤢 And while your at it - go to smile school

I went to get chips for my toddler - was met with a very rude "we don't do chips" Right-ee-o I'll get a toasted ham and cheese. The man working was quite pleasant but the woman serving was honestly so rude and unpleasant that I would NEVER return! She said not one word the entire transaction. And the coffee was awful.

The service is good , don't get me wrong . But the menu needs an overhaul . The food is bland and no flavour and choices are not appetising . How about a nice cup of flavoursome soup with a bread roll/whole meal included on the menu . Wholemeal bread/rolls/wraps for those who can't digest white. ? Fresh fruit/Banana's . I heard someone ask for something Vegan and walked out with nothing . Get rid of some of those biscuits and muffins and get creative . Healthy and TASTY is not hard .
