Cedar Tree Restaurant

We were driving back to Texas and decided to stop here for a late lunch early dinner. This was the first restaurant that popped up on my Google feed for local restaurants. We had the buffet and was not disappointed in their selection! The waitress was friendly and helpful as well as the hostess. Very clean place as well. Food was delicious!

Last time I visited here they were still in the old building! That's been awhile!! The new place (to me anyway) is still very good! The waitress was very outgoing and friendly, and got us seated right away. It wasn't very crowded at all and it was a little after 6pm. They have a very good menu, but my wife and I opted for the buffet. Our little one who is six chose to get a cheese burger off of the menu with fries. He really loved it and said it was very good. The buffet had fried catfish, chicken fried steak, beef stew, kernel corn, greens, fried mushrooms, sweet potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls. The other side of the buffet was a salad bar and my wife said it was very good with many items to choose from for your salad. They also had a variety of dessert items on the buffet, pies, and cakes. We had a very good experience and will be going back

This is probably the best restaurant in Jasper! The chicken fried pork tenderloin with white gravy was amazing! I love the peas with ham, fried catfish, fried chicken; all really good. Their cabbage was just the way I like it: all soft and seasoned well with bacon. They had great options for salads with really fresh, homemade ranch dressing. Great chocolate pie! There were all kinds of cakes and pies (and other treats) to choose from. For a little over $13 per person for a buffet, you won't find a better deal!
