King Buffet

WORST PLACE TO EAT IN MISSISSIPPI! Only reason why I tried this place is because they had AYCE crab legs. Got there at 8:30, they close at 10, but had already stopped refilling the food. Everything was out or dried up from being out too long. I had to ask them to make crab legs 3 time's, after the 3rd time they said "No more." This was hardly AYCE, they never gave me a cracker for the crabs. Gave us the bill after us just being there for 15 mins. The waiter kept coming by to ask us how we were going to pay for the dinner, basically politely telling us to leave so they can go home. At around 9:15 they started putting everything away. After I paid the waitress stood there at my table waiting for me to sign her tip. First time ever that I decided these people didn't deserve a tip. NEVER AGAIN.

1star is way too many for this lousy establishment. I've never written a review, but I couldn't wait to get home to rate this place! I went in on 12/24/16 and witnessed the manager treat his staff poorly. I let it slide. Upon leaving, the manager proceeded to yell at his waitress; humiliating her in front of my party and incoming guests. She had tears in her eyes! He then proceeded to mumble several profanities in his broken English. I called him out for it addressing him and his attitude. He did not like nor welcome my opinion. He threw my debit card back at me and told me he did "not like my kind." That's a hell of a comment to make to someone that just spent money at this joint. I decided to no longer hold my tongue and really let him have it. I can foresee this place going belly up due to his poor managerial skills. Nobody deserves to be treated poorly, no matter how bad you need your job. I really hope that the owner reads this and discovers the plethora of complaints this establishment has received. The funny thing is the majority are all complaining of this managers poor attitude. I highly recommend that your save both your money and your cool by taking your business elsewhere.

Let's just get to it shall we. The serving temperature of the food was so poor that it became cold once I made it back to my table. Most of the food didn't seem freshly prepared for the dinner meal, and there where portion control signs posted along the serving trays of a buffet style restaurant; with PENALTY fees associated with wasted food. Portion control and buffet don't seem to be similar in meaning for this dining experience. When the waitress brought me the check to sign she informed me that I had not indicated a dollar amount in the tip portion of the check, REALLY! I then informed her that I prefer to leave cash, she then informed me she prefers cash as well. Wow. Patron beware of this place, the quality of the dinning experience is very POOR!

My wife, daughter, and I recently ATTEMPTED to eat at this place, and the food was absolutely horrible! Everything had a thick, filmy texture as if had been cooked in month-old grease! Even the vegetables (broccoli and the such) were saturated in this same very pungent substance. As for the waitress, she came and brought the bill in the little black folder, and when I laid cash in there, she said," Oh, I keep the change (which was $4.+), I told her to bring my change back, and before I could even retrieve one red cent from the tray, she allowed me to grab a dollar, snatched the rest, and hurriedly walked away! I wouldn't even recommend this food to either of my ex wives!

Customer service was horrible. I have never bad mouthed a restaurant like this. I assure you that a visit there will definitely result in a lost of moral. I have never witnessed racism againt white and black customers. Then has the nerve to ask for a tip. I encourage everyone to please chose another place to enjoy lunch or dinner.

Came in for Lunch Service food was okay. Waitress showed up at the end of our meal to give us our bill. We told her to keep the change and she said it wasn't enough. We looked at her confused. She said something to the effect of your only going to give me this much for a tip. It was incredibly rude . She wasn't the person who sat us or gave us water. We hadn't even seen her until she handed us the bill. We will never return.

After my last visit I swore to never return. Me and my family went about two hours before they closed and it seemed like it was 15 mins before closing for them. Some of the food had dried out on the buffet and we also had to ask if they were refilling certain items. The ice cream was soft and had fuzz all over it and the sushi looked like it had been played in. The waitress who "waited" on us I had only seen twice; once to refill our drinks and again because she got one of the refills wrong. I don't even know who brought our drinks but I know it couldn't have been her to get the refills wrong and there was only one other party in there at the time and they weren't even in the area she was waiting in. After running my card the waitress stood at the table and waited on me to right on the receipt for the tip. I put x's on it and signed my name. She almost blocked me in my seat and in broken English was telling me since I didn't have cash I could just write the tip on the receipt. She literally followed me to the door holding the receipt. I will never return there ever.
