On arrival and the entry I found a server named Abbey who was doing her best to accommodate the already sat crowd and told myself and my lady she would seat us quickly….. She addressed us and seated us listen she did us rather quickly and then entered and then introduced us to the bartender who happens to be named Harmonie and she gave us samples from the bar as I looked dog an IPA in a strange to me land from the bar area in the restaurant.... this process went well and turned into a 4 beer order.... THEN we order food, Yet we rarely order food to split but we did so tonight and it was a 10 shrimp and 10 mud bugs on Alfredo pasta cooked by Cortez in the kitchen and Manalapan was it good! So good my last who is a repeat it herself cook stated openly she could NOT do better her self.... well done guys! We'd be back if we could. Delicious and helpful people ;)))

I enjoy the wings and fries from here but today will be the last day. I ordered the fries and wings and split it with my sis. When I poured the fries on top of my 5 wings I noticed a piece of hair that was on the bottom of the fries touching my food. It happens a lot at restaurants so it’s understandable ,but the tone from customer service seemed unpleasant instead of apologetic. To ask “ what do you want us to do about it?” Like it’s my issue instead of apologizing. To pay 26 dollars for wings and fries is already tad bit pricy but it can at least come with positive, understanding customer service.

I won't be back! I believe it was the owner, an older white gentleman sat there staring at me the entire time I waited for my order. This place gives me terrible vibes. If I can be honest racial discriminatory vibes. The floors were sticky and gross. It's pathetic and the food isn't that good. People of color beware.

Scrooge's was bustling with life for Sunday lunch. I ordered a takeout meal from Sunday special lunch menu with Oven roasted Brisket, mashed potatoes, green beans, fried okra, and cornbread. The brisket was tender and juicy with a somewhat muted flavor profile. It fit in perfectly for a comfort food meal as did the sides. Each and every side was done to authentic perfection. However, the cornbread was dry, tasted like cheap store bought quality, and was a disappointment. Overall, for around 15 bucks this was a sumptuous dining experience.

Last time I ordered from here was outstanding. And every other time before. Delicious steak. The wings were big, meaty and juicy. So I ordered tonight. Wings. Why? Because of the last time. I was expecting the same as before. What did I get? Tiny, sorry looking wings. They gave me more because they said they looked smaller than usual. So the kitchen knew I wouldn't be pleased but more of something tiny doesn't amount to much. Bottom line, not happy, these wings were terrible. You guys can do better.. The girl was very nice. Chili was good
