Il Borgo

We had a delicious dinner here. Both pasta and pizza cooked to perfection with very fresh ingredients. Excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. The owners and hosts are just are just the friendliest people, they made us laugh and feel more than welcome. Great place to have a family or friends dinner.

Arrived without a booking on Friday evening and asked to sit outside, which was quickly accommodated with an extra table moved to the footpath. Order the gnocchi, which was so light and fluffy and came with a fresh and clean tomato sauce. Also ordered a pizza, which had a perfect base and was full of flavour. The staff were excellent and the service prompt. Definitely recommend il Borgo.

Had dinner with family tonight at this wonderful restaurant. I had gnocchi arrabiatta and it was absolutely delicious. They use only the best and freshest ingredients and it shows . The chef actually came out and brought two slices of fresh bread to mop up the sauce . Beautiful. Thank you , Alessandra. 😘The others in the group had a pizza made to their requirements and pasta marinara with the freshest mussels . It looked wonderful. There were no complaints as everybody’s meal was eaten with absolute relish . Very friendly hosts . Thank you Angelique and Fabio for making us feel very welcome at your restaurant and the fine food and wine . We will come back again

I celebrated my 70th birthday with family and friends at Il Borgo Restaurant in Ivanhoe. I must say the food was amazing and the service was impeccable.Alessandra, Angelica, Fabio, Nicole and Alessio were very accommodating and no request was a problem. The team at Il Borgo, made my day very memorable especially Angelica with her entertainment skills. Myself and each one of my guests were extremely happy. I would highly recommend as authentic Italian Restaurant.Many thanks to the team at Il Borgo.
