Urban Seoul 2.0

The food is okay, it's a good fusion spot. The Korean/Mexican play-on-class dishes like tacos, Esquites, and Tteok-bokki are delicious. My only complaint was if you wanted to pay by card you had to spend over $50. That's fine, so now I'm looking for ways to hit $50. I noticed the soju and asked for it. I was never told the price or shown a menu for the liquor so I assumed it would be $9-$11, the usual markup. I had no idea it was $14+ a bottle! I have the same case in my fridge (6 for $27). That's one hell of a markup.

We got there right as they opened. Service was friendly but took food a while to come out. Everything was tasty, fresh and plated well. Gyozas were a bit smaller than expected and waffle fries tasted of old oil, though crispy. The side of rice was mushy and definitely day old. But LocoMoco was yum and gogi sliders were very meaty! Edamame was uniquely flavored with lots of garlic but a bit too oily. Perhaps when things are back to normal and enough servers working, total service will be back up to par with quality of food!

Good food, and good ingredients. We had the Pork Belly Tacos, Street Corn, and Chorizo Kimchi Fried Rice Skillet. The street corn could have used cotija or similar dry cheese like parmesan. The pork belly needed a bit more salt to be amazing, but there were no salt/soy sauce packets readily available.

Delicious food. The interior and amboiance is modern trendy. They have a one page menu, but most can find something to eat. They special in cross-over fusion cuisine with Korean, Mexican and even Hawaiian fusion foods. We had quite a variety of their foods. Our favorites were the elote corn, the spicy rice cakes, and the loco moco. The deserts were good as well. We had the ice cream and the strawberry shaved ice.
