Absolutely superb. Best pub around here by a mile. Food is brilliant, Sunday dinner being amazing in particular. Friendly staff and the owner is how all pub landlords should be but aren't. As a result, this place stands out from the rest.

13 of us staying at a local hotel visited the Black Horse on 17/5/23 with a table booked for 1945Hrs. The hosts were really friendly and the food we were served was absolutely superb, with no long breaks between courses. Special shout out to the girl who looked after us, she was amazing. Any opportunity you get please visit, can’t recommend it enough

We have eaten here so many times as a family and have a delicious meal every time. Fish, steak, pizza- we’ve been through the whole menu and everything is always cooked to perfection. Anthony and the team go above and beyond. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing service before we had even booked a table! Although there is no specific vegan option on the menu's I messaged to ask and the chef was willing to make vegan food for each course upon request with a little notice including using vegan alternatives such as vegan cheese. The pizza bases were amazing and you can tell the pasta is homemade. Very reasonably priced, food was excellent and the service was attentive, jokey and friendly in a warm and buzzing atmosphere even on a Thursday night. Will be back very soon😊

Great village pub with amazing food (the best roast I've had in a while) and local ales. The land lord is also very friendly. We would definitely recommend.
