I heard great things about this place so I came by to visit. It's an ok breakfast place. Lots of food on your plate for the cost. Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with Sourdough Toast and a homemade Cinnamon Roll on the side. CF Steak was not bad itself. The gravy was a bit gritty and you could still taste the flour as if the roux was not cooked all the way. Kind of light on the flavor and seasoning. Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly and the hashbrowns were plentiful and crispy. Never received my toast. Fast forward to the Cinnamon Roll. It's not a traditional roll as you would think. It's more of a cake consistency than a yeast roll. Very dry and crumbly and the icing broke. Not sure what the brown stuff was. Pretty much left all of it. Service was good for as busy as it was. Friendly staff. Might be a good place for a basic breakfast. I'll have to make another run at this place on my next trip into town. Place was very busy. Couldn't tell what cleaning protocols were but masks were not required as we entered.

You get HUGE portions (much more than one person could ever eat). And the service is phenomenal. And the food is good. The potatoes are kind of the hard side which is exactly how I like them. The only thing I found a bit odd. Is that there are cinnamon rolls in pans in the windowsills as you walk to the bathroom. So literally anyone could touch them. But they looked delicious 😂. I’m not a germophobe. So it didn’t bother me too much. But it is kinda weird. Also, they don’t mask. Which again, doesn’t bother me. But it might bother other people.

This is by far my favorite place in Indy/Monmouth/Dallas/Salem combined. Although I might be a bit partial because I LOVE breakfast food. The portions are HUGE (enough to split with family). The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the amount of food you get. Sit down or to-go, you can't fail here.
