***UPDATED REVIEW*** Since the initial review I have been chatting with the owner, Naz. Naz has been nothing but apologetic and honest with his response to this review and has subsequently offered to personally prepare the meal again for us. Based on the way he has handled this I have altered the star rating to 5. This is a business owner who genuinely cares! Not many people would go to these lengths. Thankyou Naz ! - - - - - - - - - - - - Was OK. We've had better but also had worse. Good points: Fast and efficient service on the phone and during collection. Naan breads and rice were lovely and generous sized. Poppadum and pickle tray also good.. Bad points: Found the curries a little bland. Not the worst in the world but could be better. I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine so can't really say much more. Tandoori mixed grill was tasty but for £15 I'd expect a little more. 2 small chunks of chicken and lamb, a chicken leg, lamb kofta and a single prawn didn't seem a lot for the price. Which is a shame because they were tasty. For a little under £50 we were somewhat underwhelmed. Maybe they were having a bad night as the majority of the reviews are excellent! Maybe we will try again but next time eating in?

Absolutely love this restaurant. Best naan I've tasted, and the tandoori is perfection on a plate (or, in the case of the mixed grill, a board - try it!) The staff are beyond lovely and clearly care about the restaurant and its customers. The premises feature a double height ceiling, yet retains a warm atmosphere. If you'd rather opt for a takeaway, you won't have to wait long. In short, get a curry and a Cobra from this place and you might soon find yourself compelled to leave a review that sounds like it was written by the owner's best friend.
