Souper Salad

Normally, I love this chain. But this restuarant was a huge letdown (I dont blame the employees. I only ever saw three, and they appeared to be doing the best they could with what they had.). Only about a third of the dressings where labeled, the mac and cheese looked really old, the "fresh baked" bread was stale and looked like the cheap scones you get at hotels. And the mens room door was jammed, and I was told I had to use my shoulder to get in. Souper Salad needs to step it up.

Fresh and very clean salad bar restaurant. I had the crisp, fresh pre-mixed spinach and fruit salad with a deliciously sweet and savory dressing. You can build your own with too many items to list...always clean and fresh stuff! The buffet also includes a fun assortment of breads, soups, a nacho/taco bar and whole sweet potatoes (baked) and regular baked potatoes as well. And...don't forget the dessert bar! Ice cream, strawberry short cake, brownies and a bunch of toppings to choose! All for less than $8! Just get here...if you leave hungry it is your own fault!

Quite delicious!! The salad was crisp and green, and all the fixings were fresh, cold, and well attended to. Nothing looked wilted or warm. And all the little potato salads and picked salads were yummy!! The soup was lovely, about 5 to choose from, and all tasty. Nothing special, but really good. Sadly, the bread was a bit stale, but they brought out fresh when I brought it to their attention. There was baked potatoes with fixings, and desert, and lots to drink. Very worth the money, and very filling!

I used to love this place and frequently enjoyed fresh salads and tasty hot items. This location has gone downhill. Today the floor was filthy and sticky, the produce was old, wilted, and tasted dirty. The soups were so salty I couldn't eat them. The area where the desserts were had ants or some other bug in it. The pizza was burned and crusty. I asked an employee if they would be putting out fresh pizza and he said what was out was fresh. After several less than satisfying visits the last few times, today is definitely my last time to eat here.

2 stars because the food was amazing! However, one of the waiters was very rude. We asked 3 times for a refill and didn't get it for almost 5 minutes. I have a severe food allergy to raspberries and blackberries, and as I have never been here before, I asked the cook behind the counter if it was just blueberries in the item. He very sarcastically said, 'Yeah. Blueberries, wheat, and bread.' Don't know about this location again. But defiantly love the food variety.
