Black Bear Diner

I arrived incredibly early, and I got great service and attention from Liz my waitress and the manager, Alex . I felt at home and comfortable. The food was great and the price reasonable. Super happy with the place and service. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the internet was down. Which happens. But honestly perfect place close to the airport, if you seriously hungry, looking for a great deal, friendly service , relaxed vibes and comfortable place to do some laptop work too. Definitely recommend .

From the time I walked up to the entrance, I was treated like a Valued Customer! Someone opened the door for me, then Elizabeth quickly sat me at the table of my choice, the food was presented beautifully, (huge plate of Southern Scramble). My coffee and water were full at all times, and the smiles and incredible attitude from everyone working together made my experience unforgettable!! Thank you!

Black Bear Diner was AMAZING!!! The orange juice is fresh squeezed. EVERYTHING is HOMEMADE!!! DELICIOUS!!! Christi, our server was very nice and very personable, especially for someone working on Thanksgiving! She was prompt and helpful. If you're ever in Houston TX and you're looking for really good food and really good service make sure you stop by Black Bear Diner, you won't be disappointed!!!

Just ate at Black Bear Diner in Humble for the first time. Mind you it’s a Sunday afternoon and we didn’t have a long wait at all. Once seated our server was Vincent. This guy was on top of his section! Refills before cups ran out. Check back after delivering the food. Seriously, he made the experience better! Now the food: SO GOOD! My son had The Volcano and I had the Joe’s Hobo Omelette. Both of our meals came out hot and delicious. In my opinion, 5 star service and food. My 10 yr old son says: Best Brunch Ever! Now that’s a real compliment.

I went to Black Bear Diner on a Sunday morning. We were able to be seated immediately We did not wait long for our food. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. She helped us make decisions about what we would like to order. I liked the mugs with the diner's name on them and their menus look like a newspaper which was very unique. They are in a good location which is close to the highway and only 12 minutes from George Bush Airport. My friend was flying out that morning so it was a great location to have breakfast and get to the airport in a timely fashion.

I stumbled across this little diner and loved it! It was giving a country feel which was perfect for my mom, aunt and I. The food was awesome and I love the serving size. I can’t leave their post without mentioning our waiter, Greg! He made our visit! He was very attentive and friendly. This was our first visit and he made us feel right at home. Love this little place! Check it out when you get a chance!

Our server, Vincent, was amazing! He is the fastest server I have ever had in my life! We would ask for something and would have it two seconds later! He was also incredibly friendly and helpful with his suggestions. He had a huge smile too, even during an extremely busy lunch hour! We were so impressed. Thanks, Vincent. You are the epitome of an excellent server.
