We tried Mascalzone for the first time this past Friday with some friends who had visited once before. We tried a few of the pizzas this time and plan to return to try the pastas and the actual Mascalzone specialty next time. We had a party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. We also had great service with Carlos as our waiter. He was attentive and friendly. He helped make suggestions for food and drinks and we appreciated his help. We had a nice first visit and look forward to coming here again to try the other menu offerings.

As a 1st generation Italian and native New Yorker, I was very satisfied with Mascalzone; not only on the food, but on the service as well. I highly recommended the spinach gnocchi and the mushroom truffle pizza. I also got to meet the owner Angelo, a native Italian who was a really great guy!

This place was very clean a bit cold but the food was awesome and very light. The pasta was not greasy or heavy not the pizza. I recommend going to eat there.

Great food, environment, and staff. Our waitress was extremely kind and helpful. Pretty much any of the staff I talked to seemed like they were from Italy, so that definitely gave some sense of authenticity. The food was great and they took the extra step to make sure we were happy with our experience.

Everything was great. This is the closest to actual Italian food we have had since we were in Italy! Waiter was awesome as well. Spoke Italian a lot of the time which made it different as well. This will be our go to for sure.

I've been to Italy many times. This is like going to Italy. More of a northern flare...also don't expect pasta slithered with tomato sauce. This is more risotto and hearty beef.
