Subway

Like 5 workers there, they all were scrambling and really didn't know how to put together a sandwich, they didn't even know what was on their own menu. My footlong sandwich fell apart and was not cut and they put the sauce everywhere, on the outside of the bread, save yourself the Hassel and go to McDonald's

Ordered online at 11:50 and it said it would be ready for 12:10. I show up and walk in and they had forgotten about my order so I sat down to wait and I didn't receive it until 12:40 while all of the customers in line were helped. I ordered online because I was in a time crunch and ordering online is the whole point of avoiding lines.

Oh my!! How do they think the lettuce taste good when they chop up the whole head? It's disgusting and ruined my sandwich so I threw it away. Plus I had to tell them what the ingredients were to a pizza sub deluxe sandwich. A district manager was at the store and they had no clue. Needless to say, when you see an advertisement for their sandwiches you better know what's on the sandwich. I think I'll bring it down to one star 2 is too many. Oh and no compensation was even offered. Very disappointed!

Overall probably one of the worst places in terms of food safety. Seen the manager not using gloves to handle food multiple times, seeing multiple employees leaning their body on the food counter. Seen an employee sneeze on someone's sandwich and didn't even bother to remake it. That is absolutely disgusting due to covid and gross in general. This place used to make the best sandwiches, but the 'sandwich' i received was not up to standards. The bread was like a rock and the sandwich was lazily put together. You're better off just making your own at home where you don't have to deal with the swearing employees and awful customer service. If I could rate this place zero stars, i absolutely would. This place was a waste of time and I hope they get their business together before they go out of business.

I eat at this subway a couple times a month and I've noticed 2 things that could absolutely improve. There is frequently new staff there, I don't know why, but I know there's a reason people won't stay. The second thing is ingredients and bread. They often have a rush towards the time the store closes where they refuse to slice fresh ingredients or claim to be out of what you ask for and they don't enough make bread for that evening rush. If it's dinner time in Houlton and you want a sub, you'd be better off making your own.

There is something to be said for a sure thing, and Subway provides just that. Every location produces subs that taste the same and are made from the same quality ingredients. It is nice to know that wherever I order my tuna and spinach on wheat sub from, I will be sure to get the same taste and value. The staff at this location was friendly and seemed to enjoy their work and their co-workers. They handled an influx of customers as quickly and professionally as they would handle a slow day. All in all it was a very good visit. I just miss being able to dine in.
