Stopped for a family lunch on our way to Millers Ark Farm. We got a very warm welcome. Kids and adults all had burgers which were really tasty and cooked to perfection.. Also the halloumi soldiers were delicious. Lovely staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it - only wish we lived nearer and could go more often. Thanks for your lovely service

Just dropped in for couple pints of 49er...... great Ringwood pint with great table service. Booked a table for dinner this evening....another of my favourite chicken burgers and pint of fantastic Ringwood 49er. Top marks again to both kitchen and front of house. Thank you all, see you soon. My wife and I returned to eat last Tuesday (cheap ale night). We both chose Dirty Chicken Burgers which proved possibly the best burgers we've had! So, great food, great service and again, a couple of perfect pints of Ringwood 49er! Many thanks to all on duty. 🙂😋👍

So wish this great little place was nearer to our home! ☹️ We popped in whilst travelling through the area and were blown away. 😊 The food and service were excellent. Staff friendly and welcoming and gave good advice on food choices. Probably the best burgers we've had in a long, long while and amazing puds too. The KitKat cheesecake was amazing. I'm sure we'll find an excuse to come that way very soon. 🤞

Just had an amazing meal at the hogget, booked a table half an hour before arriving on a Sunday! Greeted and sat at our table straight away and had our drinks order taken and within minutes they were with us. We then ordered our starters and mains and received very quickly I had the calamari and my wife had the grilled hallomi and we had the cauliflower wings to share and these were all great full of flavour and the potions were very generous for starters. Next I had the half rack of ribs which I would say came as a full rack in some restaurants but not here it was a big portion for half and I upgraded my chips for the smokey brisket Fries and my wife had the pork belly (slab) and she also upgraded to the same fries and we shared a doorstep garlic loaf! Every month full was splendid! Then as the portions were very generous it was the tough decision of pudding :-/. My wife went for it and had the Biscoff cupcake and I could only manage 2 large scoops of mango sorbet I tried abit of the cupcake and it was really nice. During our time at the hogget we were constantly asked if we needed anything and if our meals were OK and this is brilliant the staff were all cheerful and nothing was a bother I have to say this is up there in restaurant visits, the bill was fully justify able and worth every penny highly recommended and will definitely be returning as there's so much more the menu has to offer. Also the Guinness is poured to perfection. Well done guys.

As a returning customer, I was pleased to see that the friendly warm atmosphere is still alive and well at the Hogget. The staff who served us were polite, attentive and very accommodating during our visit. Topped off with the beautiful food, I'll be sure to return when I'm next in the area that is for sure. Well done and keep up the good work. 👍👌 Having been advised by a friend at work to try this place for a steak, I did so tonight. I have to say that as I enjoy a good well aged steak cooked nice and rare, I was exceptionally pleased when my rib eye arrived. It was cooked to perfection, the accompanying vegetables were also spot on. The pepper sauce was at first thought to be a little thin, but as I got towards the end of my meal it was still fresh tasting and complimented the steak perfectly right through to the very last mouthful. I took a chance in not booking a table in advance, but this was due to me being on my own, if I'd had been part of a group, I might not had been able to get in. I will definitely book so as not to be disappointed next time. On arrival, the lady who greeted me, said that the only place they could get me in would be to put me on a large table where a couple were already sat at the opposite end. I'm glad that I said yes. To sum up in a word, Superb! I will definitely be calling again.

Stopped off hear last night after dropping our son back to Farnham. The two girls serving us were first class, very tentative and caring, and the food was absolutely superb. Ordered within 10 minutes, and it was served, piping hot within 15 minutes. Would definitely stop off again when up from Devon. Thank you

I have been to The Hogget 3-4 times, always on Fridays for a team lunch. Being a working lunch, the swift service by The Hogget crew goes on the top of my list of plus points for this cozy place just about a hops distance from the workplace. The ambiance is great with nicely spaced out indoor seating as well as outdoor seating for the sunny days. Fairly wide spread of menu options, along with a few Veggie options of which i have tried all and can confidently recommend to the Vegetarians. All my colleagues were also well pleased with their food, the steak burger seems to be an all time favourite.
