Loco Moco from Rainbow Drive-In. This is definitely a must-try for any first-time visitor to Hawaii! An iconic dish that is both a hearty and flavorful combination. Consisting of two hamburger patties served on two scoops of rice, topped with their special gravy and two eggs cooked the way you like, accompanied with a scoop of macaroni salad. It's the perfect way to start your day or satisfy a late-night craving.

I got the Mochiko Chicken and Garlic Chicken. I think I liked the Mochiko Chicken the best, but they are both delicious. Huge portions, I will have some for tomorrow's breakfast, lunch, and dinner, lol. Mac salad and rice spot on as well. Excellent and friendly service. Order online and ready when you arrive. Lots of locals in there when I picked up my order, so that's a great sign. Highly recommend!

I got the Mochiko chicken & it was delicious. My kids loved their bbq chicken plate. The Mac salad was good but needed an extra pinch of salt. Overall great option with good sized portions.

Consistently really good food, portions, and service! The amount they give you is large enough for two people or a dinner and a lunch! Another place kind of similar for big take-out meals is Liliha drive-in.

Go here to pick up pot luck stuff. Reasonable price and they take orders last minute too. The garlic chicken is good.
