Uncle John's Bbq

After reading the negative reviews, I still opted to try this place. The first staff who took our order was pleasant. The second person, not so much. After waiting a very long time for our food, he saw us standing by the counter, walked up and just looked at us. Very odd. He didn’t say anything, just glared. Soon we ascertained he wanted us to give him our receipt with our order number. Fast forward to the food. The rib tips were as leathery and burnt. The hot links were ok. We did receive 3 hot links in the jumbo size but 1 was shorter than the other 2.

First time customer here, and sadly they gave me the wrong order. I ordered a small hot link with a mix of hot and mild sauce. When I got home I discovered they gave me rib tips instead. They were too far away from me to turn around and I was super hungry. I tasted a bit of it but it wasn't what I wanted so I didn't even eat the meal. When I called to inform them of their mistake, the young man was silent after coughing for a minute. He then said " SO WHAT DO YOU WANT? To come in and get the order?" What I wanted is for you to have made my order correctly the 1st time but since that didn't happen, you could at least apologize for the inconvenience. Instead he said bring the food in with the receipt and didn't seem to care. I decided it wasn't worth my time, I'm not likely to patron here again.

Customer service was good but this is by far the most horrible Barbeque I’ve ever had in my life . I tried it when they first opened and customer service was horrible and food was ok. But now this food is awful 😞 I don’t like giving negative reviews but this was too bad not to . I should have went to my regular place but wanted to support my neighborhood business .

I tried again. What a waste…the BBQ sauce was either watered down or they just simply didn’t bother to stir it up. The meat (rib tips) was OK, but they cut it up into ridiculously small pieces. I also ordered hot links for someone else, they complained that they were old. When I placed the order I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. It took me 40 minutes to arrive, there was no one else waiting, and they had yet even prepared my order. Another customer entered and had also order over the phone almost an hour earlier, her order too was not ready. When it was time to pay they added a 4% surcharge because I was using a debit card. Best advise stay away,

Who ever cooked that food today baby! On this Saturday afternoon. God bless you. Your family and the restaurant! I throw down! Had to do a double take thought I made it. Ribs was so good and slightly tender I had to take a break from eating to right this post. If my momma was here I would have slapped her!😭

Saturday early afternoon I sent my son in to get me a tip for my lunch for work. I ate here before when they first came to homewood and couple times after, they were good. Well this time not good. They have changed. The sauce does not stay liquid it pastes up and the taste of the sauce changed. I also got a lot of over cooked meat, very tough. That night til next day I was sick as a dog, gave me the runs. I can no longer eat here.
