What a great experience on Saturday celebrating a friend's birthday. The new manager, DeWitt, was so friendly and most importantly, VISIBLE throughout the night. He really made everyone feel welcome, going so far as to being by the door at the end of the night to make everyone feel like they were at a neighbor's house for a party instead of just being at the bar! Cant wait to go back to visit DeWitt and his amazing staff!!

I walked inside stood around for a few minutes without being greeted by any staff. After waiting several minutes not being spoken to I asked if there were TV's upstairs so I could watch the game. She responded plain faced "yes" still no greeting!!! No smile not even a smirk. I inquired if there was Blue Moon draft beer upstairs and she said no & there's none down here either. This made her aware that I was interested in having a beer and maybe a suggestion of another option could've taken place but nothing happened. I sat at a table first to see if I would receive a menu, she walked past with a plate of food for another customer, didn't make eye contact, or anything. A Caucasian gentleman sitting at the bar got up to leave and she wished HIM a good rest of the day. This led me to believe she was more than capable of greeting a customer. My friend & I sat at the bar where he was sitting, and still were not greeted. We weren't offered anything to drink, or eat during our entire duration of this seemingly horrible visit. Two Caucasian gentleman walked up alongside of us and were asked if they needed anything? And that's when I got up and walked out. Being the only two African American customers there, it was nothing short of disturbing to have had this happen. And I will never return to this place again!!! #HORRIBLE
