Duck Donuts

New to the state and to Duck Donuts. After reading the reviews, we had to give this place a try. First and foremost, bring patience because these tasty made to order donuts are worth the wait. The cashier was very nice and explained the process of ordering to us. My husband and I decided to order two donuts each which for me turned out to be a big mistake but I'll get to that in a minute. My husband decided to try a Fan favorite called Bacon in the sun🌞 and a seasonal donut called Pumpkin Roll 🎃 I ordered the seasonal donut called Apple Pie and then ordered a custom donut with strawberry icing, 🌈 sprinkles, and raspberry drizzle. It was fun to watch the process of them making our donuts and they were warm when we got them. I decided to try the Apple Pie donut first and it tasted so good but it was also sooo sweet! The donut had a nice fluffy texture with a little crisp to the outer edge. If I was about 20 years younger I wouldn't have had a problem eating both donuts. Although the donuts were very good, I was unable to eat the second one. The rest of the day I felt like I was on a major sugar high. My husband had no problems eating both of his but agreed the sweet factor was on another level. Next time, maybe we will get one and split it. So if you have a major sweet tooth, this place is worth a try. Also, this location was clean and customer service was amazing.

It was my first time visiting Duck Donuts. The staff was friendly. I ordered two donuts: the Sunrise and Strawberry Confetti. The outside was crispy with icing and sprinkles on top while the inside felt soft and powdery. The iced latte was more on the milky side. Would recommend to try it out if you haven’t!

Donuts were great, togo box covered in whatever was on the prep table (icing, sugar, chocolate, etc) took one of the free newspapers to put under the box. No bags. Donuts however are in the top ten for sure. Fresh made vanilla cake donuts with toppings of your choice. Assortments for easy decisions. Will definitely go again. And bring my own plastic bags. :)
