Wasabi Bistro

Staff is really friendly and food is good. Pricing is reasonable but my only issue..... we have been going here for the last 2 years. Since then, recently we noticed that the portion sizes went 8 slices on a decent size roll, to 6 slices on a smaller roll. Yet the prices went up. So you now pay more for less.

Fairly cozy shop. I did wait close to an hour for my food, but I could tell they were extremely busy. It was definitely worth the wait. Everything was very good (I particularly liked the egg nigirizushi), but finding a good piece of octopus is tough around here, and this was one of the best I've had in a long time. If the octopus is good, everything is good. Looking forward to going again when they're less busy, but I'm glad they're busy because it speaks to the quality of the sushi.

I’ve never been physically in this restaurant and can’t speak for its character, it has incredible reviews and I took that into account when ordering delivery because I was really hankering for some ramen. The ramen here is very bland, in the way that it really is just noodle soup with random vegetables. My past experience with ramen is very different, having previously lived in a big city, and unfortunately I was very disappointed 😔 definitely need some flavor, bone broth, scallions, and some pork belly or chicken. I’m sure I’ll give their sushi a try in the future, as reviews rave, but don’t expect much with their ramen.

You eat out because you are hungry but also for the experience. We enjoyed the bento lunch box, each item tasty and presented with Japanese flair. Our server was good if not rather quiet. But Wasabi could use ti work on the ambiance. The room has little color or decor and the background music was enough to put me asleep. I’d love to say I’ll be going back but I like places with a more upbeat vibe.
