Steak 'n Shake

It was good, the price was not bad either, the food was really good, the staff where nice even when she was busy from the kids party that was there, they have really thin fries so you can shove a whole bunch in you mouth at once lol, there shakes where super cold, will definitely be going back again.

This steak n shake is BAD. I haven't had such bad experiences over and over again at any steak n shake, except for this one. Tonight we went, only two people sat down with no food. We got sat after about two minutes and was greeted with a woman with at attitude. When we got our drinks, they tasted old and run down with water. When we got our food , our waitress just threw it onto teht able infront of us and walked away without asking if we needed anything else. Ontop of that, my friends food had mold on it. It looked like they tried to rip part of it off but left some on. She didn't see it till I noticed it. When we told out waitress, she didn't care and just took the food thre it away. She didn't tell us we were going to get a replacment or anything. The other people waiting had to get up and get their menues and the cooks asked if they had been taken care of. The cooks also had to go around the resturant to try and find her, not once but several times. If you go to any steak n shake ,PLEASE AVOID this one.

Went in just for shakes because they have the #1 milkshake in the Zagat survey. Took ten+ minutes to get the three shakes and then one was wrong. Ten minutes later, we still hadn't seen our server again. Another server helped us out eventually. The second shake came a lot faster but was in a glass after a to-go cup request. On the third attempt the correct flavor shake was delivered in a slightly damp cup. Biggest issue was that we never got any napkins. Two little kids with milkshakes... Napkins are necessary! I have to edit this to add that I don't know who they bribed on this survey but I have had a better milkshake literally everywhere else. McDonald's, my kitchen, ice cream left in the sun... All better than my three milkshakes from steak n shake. So to sum up, we had an absentee waitress that got our three item order wrong and gave us no napkins to enjoy our sub par milkshakes.

My family and I are here from Myrtle saying our last goodbyes to my Granddaddy. Being here is our first outing since we got here and it was a breath of fresh air. The food was really good, our waitress Megan was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and attentive, and it was just a nice change of scenery.

Google says your establishment is closed but I was just in the drive thru 1:50am and this older man on the cash register in the drive thru shorted me a dollar then when I went back yet he made up this excuse like he couldn't count basic math lol steak n shake needs to hire some honest help got a thief on the register lol
