Really nice place to visit and stop over. The food is tasty and well presented and the wait isn't long at all. The staff are brilliant, I would rate the overall service as excellent.

Arrived at about 10.15 for breakfast and after a wait we were shown to a table, unfortunately there were no muffins, beans, croissants, because it had been busy apparently but there was enough to make a decent breakfast. The staff are lovely people, chatty and friendly. Would definitely return.

Been coming here, on and off, for quite a few years now and not too much has changed - thats a good thing. As they say it does what it says on the tin. Quick food, plenty of it, in a nice setting with friendly and attentive staff.

Great place for atmosphere and great food and good prices. We had the three courses for £18 something. We both had potatoe skins with cheese sauce and sour cream dip . Hubby had fish and chips with musy peas. ( looked like a whale) he said it was really good with nice batter . I had the smothered chicken breast with cheese and bacon. Chips and coleslaw. We both then managed to squeeze in apple pie and ice cream. Yummy 😋

Not bad really, the pub is quite isolated in areas which means the staff don't always see you tucked away. So when you would like another drink it's difficult to get attention when there's only 3 staff.
