Great food but smallish portions

Spent a Saturday afternoon in here. Great to watch the football in a friendly atmosphere. Service was excellent with attentive staff. Beer was good, I didn't try any food, but what was being served appeared nice and well presented. The pub has a large garden area and is dog friendly inside and out. There's a bit of a hike upstairs to use the toilets. However, there are disabled facilities at ground level. More expensive than the 'spoons' just down the road, but much better in all other respects.

We were served by Izzy who was polite bubbly and a pleasure to be served by. The food was cooked by Jay which was served hot and quickly and was delicious thank you we will return 😀

Food which was gammon etc was very good and happy with meal but could have had a few more chips, but all was good and would visit again
