Madam & Adam

Finally had the opportunity to visit this "local gem" in Hereford, even the Good Food Guide agrees with me. It's an intimate setting on the bank of the river Wye with only a couple of table, so do book well in advance. The food is simply amazing! The plates a well balanced and it's generally recommended that you have 2-3 per person. The Madam & Adam team go foraging to provide some quirky parts of the well crafted dishes. Well worth the visit, and with an ever changing menu you may come back frequently.

Fantastic eatery. First of all a massive thank you to Beth and Adam for providing a fine dining cuisine with the convenience of tapas. We managed to get squeezed in for a table of two and had 3 plates between us with some sides. Every bite was an adventure in gastronomic delicacy, with swarms of flavours swirling in the mouth. The portions were great and fabulous guidance on ordering. Cannot mention how friendly the welcome was, don't think the reviews do this place justice. I think we will definitely return to try some of the other plates on offer. Thank you for hosting a wonderful evening.

Wonderful! We were first in so a little quiet when we arrived but the atmosphere improved quickly. The food was fantastic, we had 4 dishes a side and a pudding all of which were based around things we knew but with some very interesting combinations! It was a bit like a Michelin star restaurant without the pretentiousness or price! Definitely will be returning.

Six of us went for dinner on Saturday. Absolutely fabulous! We shared 14 dishes between us and were all absolutely stuffed!! The food was fantastic and lovely wine too. Smashing service also. The only shame is that we don't live closer to Hereford, so that we could make this a regular haunt! Keep up the good work.

The food was amazing, great service and helpful owner. The idea of small plates of shared fine dining food is a great idea to try more of the menu. The only thing was that we shared between four and you don't always get the full flavour profile that the chef designed because you are all diving in. Would be perfect between two and will definitely go again.

Some of the best food I have ever had! Food that is so creative and passionately produced!! Can't beat the people it's made and served by either. The chief clearly loves what he does as the food shows this, as does Beth who is the most friendly host. Plus an amazing view of the river to top it all off with.

Superb food, great service and lovely location. I was a little skeptical about the 'small plates' but two plates left me feeling suitably full. Couldn't not order desert after the mains were so good! (don't think about it, have that brownie). Take advantage of them being relatively new in Hereford - it won't be long until people realise what great food this place offers and then it'll be booked 3/6 months in advance. Definitely revisiting, now my first choice for where to dine in Hereford.
