Jalapeno Tree

First time I’ve ever heard of that restaurant. Our friends said it was great and they were absolutely right! Had the fajitas and some of the best I’ve ever had. They had some kind of ranch/Guacamole as appetizer and it was amazing! To top things off there’s an ice cream machine as you walk out! We will definitely eat there again!

The food was great but the waitress was definitely not interested in speaking to my husband. He asked me if it was just him or if I noticed that too...however, our meal came out mostly as ordered and somehow I noticed extra glasses of our drinks sitting on a vacant table next to us so when we ran out of drinks, we just got those since the waitress had already told us she had brought 2 extras out. However, one couple did get up and walk out after waiting quite awhile for their meal and it never showed up. There IS a sign at the front asking for understanding due to short staff issues but being friendly/courteous to BOTH customers at a table would have been a 5 star review for our dining experience inspite of the drink refill issue. And seeing the other couple get up and leave and the staff freaking out about it... Wellllll, I am pretty sure that should have spoken volumes.

Went around the 7th of March with my daughter and grandchildren. Daughter and I got food poisoning. We noticed after being seated that the staff looked miserable. No one smiled or even spoke that much. Short of a funeral I can't say I have ever seen a group of people so sad/miserable. The manager was serving food. I don't know what was going on but it was creepy. Before you ask, yes I tried to notify the health dept. I never want anyone to get as sick as we did. This is very sad because I loved this place and was my main go to for good food/service. Now I am just to scared to go back.

The place is well put together, the food was good with good ticket times. People were well spaced and wait times were very reasonable for lunch on Sunday. Our waitress was a bit inattentive, perhaps she was oversat. The rest of the staff filled the gaps and so I think we will be back and give it another try. Otherwise good chain, cold beer, and good times.

We got some to to fajitas last Sunday, because Tia Juanitas closes early on Sunday. The olny thing positive I can say about the food is the green sauce is good. I like it. The food on the other hand, yuck. The tortillas were good, it the fajita meat was awful. It has this gas flavor that I just cant get past. It's odd though because the meat looks like it never touched a flame. I like my beef a little pink on the inside but the outside needs to be cooked a little on the outside. The beans, and just everything really. Another thing I will add is when I went inside and had their Margaritas they were terrible too. Never see anyone order drink there. I glad Henderson finally has options and I dont have to suffer eating here anymore.
