Lovely cooked breakfast with sausage, bacon and black pudding hash brown, beans, mushrooms, tomato and good quality toast, and great value (£12.50). Modern clean interior, cosy and warm. Very welcoming. Free Wifi and Dog Friendly!!

It’s a lovely pet friendly cafe serving great food, coffee and hot chocolate. Visited a couple of times and loved it!!

Number 12 has had a bit of a makeover since our last visit had it really looks lovely both inside and out.
We found the staff very friendly and welcoming, making a big fuss of our dog. We visited three times over the course of our stay near by and were very impressed each time with the experience. Lovely people, lovely food and lovely deco.

This is a lovely place to eat in Helmsley. We both had the steak pie and chips, and it was delicious. The pies were amazing (they get their pies from next door - Aunry Anne's bakery, which is very highly rated), and the chips were fluffy and crisp. We were very impressed with the meal but also the speed that it was served, despite it being a busy Friday lunchtime and a market day. We will definitely go back.

Just popped in for a coffee ☕️ and wasn't disappointed, fab place both in and out. Definitely worth a sit outside to watch the world go by and a fab backdrop of Helmsley Castle. Absolutely returning for some food soon!

Great place which we visited 3 times in a week due to the friendly staff and great food. It was lovely that this is dog friendly. I had the Yorkshire breakfast, the Yorkshire platter and on the third day I had the club sandwich and I could recommend trying any of them.

A lot bigger inside than you would expect from the front, with ample seating in two large well appointed rooms/areas.
There is a good selection food, but we only had time for drinks and enjoyed a lovely latte and a hot chocolate.
The service was quick.
We will definitely visit again.
