If they had 10 stars I would give it first they have over a 95 % on their health inspection which is a green check mark 2nd we had been searching for a good place to eat REAL BBQ ummmm the brisket,ribs pulled pork,chicken and sausage were done to perfection the sides were great as well Mac and cheese slaw and baked beans were all great stop in you won't be disappointed we definitely will be back jj's yall are awesome keep up the great work!!

We are Louisiana folks and here for work my husband wanted to try it because we love BBQ and this place is as close to home when it come to BBQ the brisket is on point the ribs are on point the beans are the bomb potatoe salad is really good the Mac and cheese is great we eat here every other week and love it! Thank you for not vinegaring everything up as the other BBQ places do around here! This place is the best and will not go to another BBQ place in North Carolina! I believe it's the best in the state! The staff is also amazing! Nice and polite! Thank you for giving us Louisiana folks good BBQ cause you want get it no where else in North Carolina! ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ most definitely!

We stopped on a whim heading to Morehead from New Bern and enjoyed our late lunch. The Mac and cheese was our favorite side (not too spicy) followed closely by the potato salad. My husband enjoyed the chopped pork sandwich (listed as pulled pork). It was eerily quiet inside, some Texas county music would have been a nice addition... Dessert too! We will be back on a future trip through town.

While running errands around Havelock, we decided to stop for lunch. We decided on the meat sampler platteronce we arrived. Each sample was completely delicious in it's own way. I really liked the smoked chicken and smoked brisket. The cole slaw and mac n cheese were an addition to the meat platter. A quaint place to enjoy some delicious food. We always enjoy this place.
