Some of the best food we have eaten from the array of North London Indian owned pub/restaurants. The flavours are lovely, everything is cooked to perfection and the portions are fairly generous. The staff are very nice and helpful. This is only the second restaurant to receive a 5* compliment from me, after Purple Flame. My eldest son loved the food and he is very fussy when it comes to lamb chops. We even bought a load of food to take away for the next day! Highly recommend 👍🏼

I had an absolutely fantastic experience here on Saturday night. The service is excellent, very friendly, quick and attentive. The food was fantastic and well priced. It’s very tasty, excellent mix of flavour and spice levels. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Rayners/Harrow/Wembley area. We had starters 2 mains 2 sides and desserts and drinks and it was £40 each (£80 total). Great value for money. I really recommend the lamb bhutawa The decor and vibe inside is great, the place is laid out well and there’s enough space everywhere. There are lots of TVs to watch sports or the live event. The toilets are clean and hygienic. The location is great, just opposite Rayners Lane station. We arrived at 6pm without a reservation and the staff kindly let us sit by the window. It’s not very noisy, even when the place is busy around 8pm, which is great. It’s family friendly too. I would recommend this place and I would definitely come here again. Really worthy of 5 stars. I had a great time!

So have not been here in years, but decided to grab a takeaway. Ordered a chicken manchurian curry, that soy, garlic and loads of green chillies sauce hits the spot with a garlic naan. I will be back.

First time here, impressed with the Covid safety protocols. Sanitizer available before you enter, staff wore face masks and each table is sectioned off with perspex without being intrusive. We wanted to try new things and highly recommend the chicken mo mo dumplings. We also tried a different kind of lamb curry which was flavoursome with a hint of chili. Nan was good. Unfortunately I was too stuff to try the chicken schezuan noodles and staff have me a takeaway box so I can pack it up myself. Social distancing was adhered too at all times. Will definitely come back here.

Enjoyed some good tasty Indian/Nepalese food . Thouroughly enjoyed it. Good service, nice atmosphere and large screen sports. Of the many things we ordered this is what I captured highlights being the momos, chicken wings, lamb and chicken sekwana.

This is a must try. It is definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in north west london and you can see how many I have been too! I forgot to take a picture of all the food but you can see the crispy bhindi, chilli paneer, crispy bhajia and king pao mogo. Having been to so many indian restaurants in north west london the food is very similar but this rastuarant was able to stand out for me with different flavours. You must try the kung pao mogo. It is something completely different with cashew nuts and is very crispy. The chilli paneer was very good...not as good as Sakonis but close. My friends got some meat food and enjoyed it as well. In terms of price I think it was very cheap. We spent £15 each and could eat not more.

I like the test of food of this restaurant. I have order few times take away. I have arrange birthday party with them. Price was agreed for four starters and four main course. When food served only three starters and three main course was served. And price charged more then we agreed. In front of 64 people avoiding problem I paid.

Benefit of doubt I went again with 20 people and Informed how they over charged and he laughed it off. He wanted me to pay set price for 18-20 people but I said we will order what ever we want. When I ordered very small portion that I was so embarrass in front of guest. Drink price are central London price.
Not happy at all. Next time I will not go there at all.
There are a lot of Indian “clubs” in the Harrow area and I’ve been to most of them. The word club is kind of misleading as they mainly serve food but also have well stocked bars and usually have sport playing on screens around the place.

It’s a relaxed format which is perfect for grazing the menu. That’s exactly what I decided to do on Sunday and picked Ruby M’s as I hadn’t been there for a while.

The place was quite empty when I arrived with just a few barflies watching the cricket over pints. But it was a rainy Sunday afternoon so I sat down with my partner and we opted for a selection of starters as a slow and lazy lunch.

Ruby M’s has two styles of food on the menu, Indian and Indo-Chinese. This is typical of the Indian club scene as they were introduced by Kenyan-Indians to the UK, so there is an aspect of fusion to the dishes, different to your usual curry house.

We start with Masala papadums which is your regular papadum with chopped onion, tomato, fresh coriander and chilli powder on top. Served with chilli sauce and riata, they go perfectly with a cold pint of lager and certainly get your taste buds going!

I went for the tandoori lamb chops, for me a standard by which all Indian clubs should be measured. You get big portions here and my five chops were wonderfully flavoured yet not too spicy and grilled to perfection with good charring yet still pink in the middle and succulent.

We also had their tandoori paneer, rich pieces of curd cheese marinated in tandoori spices and chargrilled. Really moreish and I’m sure a little healthier than my lamb!

Next to the table was honey chilli vegetables delicious sweet, sticky but with enough spice to get you licking your lips.

Then something meaty from the Indo-Chinese menu – Shanghai Chicken. A big pile of crispy chicken pieces tossed in spring onion, chilli and a hint of soy sauce. Really good and I couldn’t stop eating them till I ran out of steam!

Whether you have tried Indian club food before or if your new to it, I can recommend Ruby M’s as a great place to eat.

Just remember to take a good appetite!

Rayners Lane Curry Strip

Ruby M's is an Indo-Chinese bar restaurant, opened in 1998. It's one of our favourite places on the Rayners Lane curry strip offering consistenly good food, service and great value. The restaurant is split into a bar area to the left and to the right a large dinning area tastefully decorated in dark wood with booths and free standing tables that can be re-arranged for big groups. There are large flat screen TVs dotted throughout the restaurant, which are sure to be on and showing Bollywood films, Bolly music clips or sport. We much prefer the Bolly TV nights to the sport. There's a large menu split into Indian food and Indian-Chinese food and they have chefs specialising in the two different types of cuisines. Indian Chinese cuisine is the adaptation of Chinese seasoning and cooking techniques to Indian tastes. Indian Chinese cuisine is said to have been developed by the small Chinese community that has lived in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) for over a century. Today, the Chinese food ha
