i have never felt mistreated by the owner or their staff for wearing symbolism expressing love for my country. i have known the owner, their family & some of their friends for almost 10 years and had many outings to vibe & social. this is not an anti-american owned or operated business. my food has always been prepared in a satisfactory manner & the staff have always been cordial.

Love this place. The owners, servers, etc are so friendly and attentive. They make you feel so welcome and like family. And don't even get me started on the food.. just wow. So good. It's like home cooking, but better. Recommend everything on the menu. Haven't found anything I've not liked yet!! Love walking in and seeing someone from every walk of life in here and all conversational. Met many people here who just start conversations and genuinely want to know each other. You can even sit and read a book with a pot of tea, or grab a drink and catch up with friends or even just watch a game or listen to good music. Super cozy and fun atmosphere. Do not really know of any other place in town like this. Highly recommend.

I'm not one to typically leave a review but I feel this one is well deserved. My My fiancé and I don't get too many nights out but when we do we love visiting Social as the drinks and food are amazing. Not only is it a fun vibe, good music and feels clean and safe (especially during the pandemic) but the staff is truly incredible. Anytime we've ever gone to Social they have been so welcoming and accommodating. I've learn this is a local family owned business and maybe that's why we love it so much. Anytime we visit we're always greeted as if they are excited to see us. I often see them walking around and building relationships with other customers as well which is a really nice feeling. There aren't too many places to go out in Harrisonburg but Social is hands down one of our favorite go to spots! If you're local and looking for a fun night out or just visiting the area I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out!
