Lovely friendly family run restaurant. Very good freshly made food. Very generous portions. Service a tiny bit slow but to be fair we were warned they were really busy and we were brought free nibbles which was a nice touch. Catered well for my gf wife (including getting her gf snacks). Bella’s homemade cheesecake was amazing. Very reasonable prices. Gets fully booked so make sure you book ahead.

Stayed in Harlech visiting family in Porthmadog... Booked to go here on one of our first nights but unfortunately I fell poorly. Called to rearrange for our last night and they were so accommodating. So friendly. No problems. Went tonight and it was a fantastic meal. Incredibly generous portions and so very reasonably priced too! Lovely staff and a small but professional set up. Highly recommend and we will absolutely be coming back! Thank you!

What a wonderful place! As soon as we walked in and the waitress commented on my girlfriend's purple hair we knew this was going to be a friendly, relaxed and enjoyable place. The upstairs bistro is really well laid out and relaxed. Food wise it was so difficult to choose. I went for the duck and belly pork, with my girlfriend opting for the seafood pasta. We couldn't resist a garlic pizza on the side. Everything tasted freshly made. The duck was a delight but it was the white bean mash and the roasted carrot that I loved most. I had to have a panacotta for afters. There's no picture as it tasted too good! All was served up with a glass of homemade lemonade and a pint of Purple Moose ale. The service was sublime. Super friendly and helpful. We will be going again and we're already clock watching waiting to head back for lunch!

My husband booked a table for my birthday and it was a culinary delight! Everything on the menu looks delicious, it was hard to choose We shared starter portions of pizza and pasta (both fantastic) followed with the best ever steak and chips. We enjoyed it far more than Hawksmoor in London, if only we lived closer to this gem of a restaurant. Very attentive service, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening, perfectly ended with homemade cheesecake. Hope to return!

Family run and food was delicious. I had the lamb and duck dishes and was cooked amazingly Definitely recommend, do need to book in advance as not much seating, however a table is yours for the whole evening, not pressured to eat and go. The lady waiting the table was brilliant also! (Didn’t catch her name - but very bubbly/funny and had glasses)

Dropped in for lunch while visiting Harlech - what a great find. We had the daily special (a porchetta bap) which was just fab. Really tender, juicy meat, full of flavour. The service was really friendly. We also had an amazing donut (made in house). This place is such a cut above your average local cafe, well worth a visit!

This Bistro is a family favourite of ours. The food is freshly prepared and simply delicious. I would recommend the homemade pasta dishes and the swordfish special when they have it on the menu. The puddings are to die for... especially the baked cheesecake and the chocolate orange pot. The staff are polite, welcoming and professional. I would recommend booking as the place gets busy. The location of this restaurant is amazing...right next to Harlech Castle!

Amazing little bistro, located in a very picturesque area of Harlech next to Harlech Castle, and a great atmosphere inside the well styled restaurant. Fine dining quality food for average restaurant prices. Really great to be able to have several mains optionally as a starter. The pasta carbonara I had as a starter was to die for and with the portion size I felt like I had two mains! We'll definitely be back the next time we visit North Wales.
