Victorian Station

WTF? We called last night to make reservations at 7 for this evening. We arrive at 6:50 to find the parking lot empty and the building shuttered. Attempted calls were met with voice mail. After waiting 20 minutes we departed. The wife went on facebook to see a post 30 minutes earlier that the music venue was cancelled. No one there to tell folks that there was no entertainment or to apologize. We drove 25 miles to view a dark building from the parking lot. This is an establishment that wants you to purchase membership at $100 or $500 per person for an intimate setting and good music. We were very excited about that prospect in an area nearly devoid of decent music. So much for expectations. Never again will we consider traveling to 'The Big Pink'. Don't waste your time or gas for such a disappointment.

Interesting place, Open Mic night had very good performers. Friendly atmosphere, but mostly singer/songwriters and thier friends. It was like being allowed into a family gathering where everyone is talented. The place is just a big old house with everything that comes with a big old Victorian house.

HORRIBLE! ABSENT! NO ONE EVEN ATTEMPTED TO OPEN! We drove from Virginia Beach to this location because of the reviews. This was last WEDNESDAY at 11 am. NO ONE was home. ALL doors locked with a sign next to the door with times (7am -2pm), no cars in the parking lot! We called the number! NO ANSWERED! Wasted my time and gas!
