Higher quality Chinese food than most places. The buffet is small but a good value. The decor is very dated but the food makes up for it.

I can't comment on the buffet. I can comment on the ordered food and the service. I would give the food a 4/5 and the service a 6/5. When we were seated the lady gave us a menu. She found out answers to questions when she didn't have them. We forgot to ask for no sauce on one of the entrees. They replaced it for no cost and let us keep the other to take home. Our son has just played in a hoops tourney and because he was in his gear, the owner gave him free desert. This is the best service that I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. The buffet may or may not be great (most aren't) but the ordered food and service was fantastic. We will be regulars!

I don't normally like meat egg rolls but theirs was soo crispy and not super soggy, the staff was so nice to my nephew even though he was more interested in checking everything else out then eating his lunch. I really appreciated their patients with us. An I will without a doubt be a returning customer!

Tasty source recently opened a new branch on the Bedford Highway (where the House of Mei Mei used to be).
We love their takeout AND their delivery service - Tasty Source has become our go-to Chinese takeout restaurant.
EXTRA BONUS: When my gluten-intolerant sister-in-law was visiting, we ordered from Tasty Source and the cook improvised gluten-free lemon chicken using potato flour, which she ate with steamed rice and LOVED.

Our food was fresh and delicious. No two dishes tasted the same and our food came quickly. The service was pleasant and prompt. I will go back.

Food is really good, each dish had their own distinct taste, disappointed that there is no salad or deserts being offered and if you want soup you have to ask for it, other than that I do like the food there.

These guys have GREAT egg rolls. Most of the other food is ok, typical takeout fare, but oh my god the egg rolls. It's true as other reviews state that the dining room is a bit outdated but I don't know what you expect from a budget restaurant in this area.
Seriously, though. Get the egg rolls.
