Pricey... but does really have local stuff and a nice selection. Only one sad part... the onion we bought had truned though ot looked fine. Will be happy to go back and buy more local next time we're staying in the neighborhood.

I couldn’t find a better place in Halifax to call it home. The staff is the most amazing part of it, always willing to help. Besides, they are partner with the great Boxing Rock brewing company

Great selection of locally sourced produce, meats, baked goods and general Sundries. Love that I can get Upfront shampoo and conditioner bars here plus thanks to the amazing staff I found a baking soda free natural deodrant from Routine that actually works.

I recently started going to the local source market when I became interested in growlers as a no-waste alternative to buying drinks at the NSLC. I'm glad I made this place my first stop, I had great service interactions and was explained the process in a friendly manner.
The store is full of lovely local products, as well as baked goods and produce. It has a much smaller scale and a more modern vibe than most markets.
I would highly recommend this place to fans of Boxing Rock, beer in general, supporting local, or no-waste lifestyles.

Cute store that helps make shopping locally convenient. The meat, cheese and egg selection is very good. They have the regular meats and even some less seen ones such as frozen wild boar, venison and goat. The herbs and greens are always fresher and better than the supermarkets and they have a good micro green supplier. Great bread and cookies. They are true to the word local
