Timber Lounge Axe Throwing

We went for a friends 40th birthday celebration. We had a great time learning how to and throwing axes. Tyler was easy going, very friendly and a great teacher. Stephanie was a great bartender and gave us a hand setting up a few little birthday signs etc. We were loud and obnoxious 😉 and they both took it in stride and joined in the fun. Highly recommend this as a fun night if you haven't before.

We had a wonderful time at the lounge as a staff party! Great service and drink options. Love that we had an instructor for the duration that gave us tips and practice throws. They then organized the tournament for us and did the scoring. I liked this vs trying to figure it out mainly on your own. Would return for sure.

So fun! Beautiful location, very kind/fun staff. A bit pricey, but not extremely so. We'll definitely be back! 😊 A few thoughts/suggestions: • It would be a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience if they had some air conditioning; it was so uncomfortably warm (a relatively small space with 2 dozen plus people) - many of us were sweating (some heavily) by the time we were done. • It would be nice to be able to see/keep the final scores when the group finishes up. They do have a site where you can view the scores as you go, but the staff working weren't able to help me find it for our group. I did figure it out on my own, but the site would rapid-fire refresh through all the groups that had scores entered from the last few days. I asked if we could have the scores before leaving, but they advised they had already been deleted (from the tablet used for scoring). Of course the website didn't show the final scores... 😕 Bit of a bummer, but not the end of the world. • A few more non-alcoholic and diet pop options would be awesome.

Great first experience here at Timber Lounge. Went here with a small party for a little birthday celebration and we had a blast. Throwing axes is no joke and it's a bit of learning curve to nail the momentum and the timing but the staff that was there to help us were totally awesome and encouraging. I really look forward to my next visit here!

Timber is amazing! With a minimum group booking of 6 people, you show up, sign a waiver, pay your fee then meet your coach who explains the rules, gives you helpful tips and scores your session amongst your friends and fun is exceptional. There's a bar for drinks and food and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I've been here twice and can't wait to go back. This place is ideal for office parties, friends night out or bachelor parties. Highly recommended.

This place is a really good time. Very rough interior, as it is intended, as the whole focus is on the axe throwing. Great staff, wonderful trainers, and a unique experience. Our department had one of our socials there and I think everyone had a good time. We had the event catered and that’s the only thing I wouldn’t rate highly. You could break your teeth on the rock-hard bread, and the food selection was just average, but I don’t think people come here for the food.
